Mae Mougin is an American ceramic artist best known for her refined work in porcelain, blending craftsmanship and sculptural sensibilities. Porcelain has been her clay of choice for the past twenty five years. The smoothness and elegance of porcelain enhances her work. Mae’s designed custom dinnerware has been featured in Vogue, Hamptons Cottage & Garden, Domino Magazine, Oprah O Magazine and The East Hampton Star.

Mae’s one of a kind porcelain is available at Bloom in Sag Harbor, NY by commission.

Mae’s bespoke pieces have been auctioned on Artsy, Madoo Gardens, The Watermill Center, Long House Reserve and Save Sag Harbor.

Mae founded The Ceramics Guild of The Hamptons with fellow ceramicists, opening The Celadon Gallery.

Mae served as a Lieutenant of East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue. Mae was Community Chair of The Byrd Hoffman Foundation Watermill Center, founded by Robert Wilson for five years.

Glass, a new discovery for her practice. She has approached glass as a ceramic artist at The Royal College of Art. Mae is continuing at Morley College in London to further her practice in Glass.
